'OpenPantries originated from a modest vision: to introduce real Neapolitan pizzas to Napoli. Established by the Romano kin in 1985, our small family-owned pizza shop began with treasured recipes passed down for generations.
Marco Romano, our pioneer, mastered the craft of pizza creation during her journey across Italy, learning from esteemed pizzaiolos in Naples, the cradle of pizza. When she came back to the UK, her resolve was to offer the true essence of Italian pizzas, adhering to age-old techniques and selecting supreme ingredients.
The journey from a cozy 12-seater pizza place to a cherished local eatery is our story, yet our dedication to excellence and genuineness remains steadfast. We continue to craft our pizzas with wood-fired ovens, prepare our dough from scratch every day, and procure the best ingredients there are to offer.
Now, 'OpenPantries' continues under the stewardship of the Romano's second generation, managing a team that shares the same enthusiasm. While incorporating some contemporary elements, the essence of our establishment stays untouched: producing delectable, real pizzas that unite patrons.
